Can you Sell Books Online?

If you have so many used books and textbooks at home and you do not plan to read them again or nobody you know might like to use or keep them, then you could consider selling them online and make extra money. Yes, technology has made it possible to sell books online and not just on garage sales.  Selling books online not only declutter your home bit also a great chance for others to save money on book purchase.

Before you begin selling your books on the web, make an inventory of all the books and textbooks you have. Separate those you will sell and make sure the books are really yours and not borrowed from someone else. Sort books that have good market value, such as those still in very good condition, almost new, rare and considered collectible, hard to find or usually out of stock in bookstores but has a great demand. Research online and determine the price for these kinds of books. Make a list of the title, author, publication date, ISBN, publishing house and the price.

Start selling your books on eBay where you can be sure to get the largest possible buyers. Next is to do a listing on Craigslist to increase the chance of increasing your potential sale dramatically. What is great about Craigslist is that there are no fees when you post or sell items. Most websites will pay you through PayPal, so make sure that you have an account before you begin.
