Where to Get Free Textbooks

The truth is, you will not be able to get all your textbooks for free, but you can get a few of them for free through different online sites that allow you to download textbooks for free. Others you may have to purchase but at a minimal cost, possibly up to fifty to seventy percent off. Now, that’s great savings considering the staggering amount of textbooks you have to purchase every year.

Each school has a wide resource of free books for students but this depends on the school’s program. Most libraries these days have a sort of book sharing network using a search or link to expand your search. As long as you do your research and review, you can get your textbooks for free. You have to determine which books are needed for your course and check out the syllabus posted. It is best to get the ISBN numbers for the books you need before you browse online for book sources.

Some sites where you can get textbooks for free include Alibris, a place for books, music and movies, Best Book Buys, Campus Book Swap, CollegeSwapShop, Compare Textbooks and eBay. There are hundreds more of online sites where you can get your textbooks at no cost at all or at a very low cost.
